Opportunity is a Chrome extension that helps lawyers find people asking for legal help in Facebook groups and respond to them. It is operated by Raz Yona ("we"). This policy describes exactly what data the extension handles, where it is stored, and why.

1. Data kept only in your browser

The core of the extension runs locally. The following is stored in Chrome's local storage on your computer and is not sent to us: posts and questions found in Facebook groups you are a member of (post text, the author's display name, group name and link); your groups, collections, scheduled posts and action history; the signature details you enter (name, title, phone, WhatsApp, website), reply templates and settings; and an AI API key if you add one. Uninstalling the extension deletes all of it.

2. Data kept on our license server

From the purchase page: name, email address, chosen plan and the time you accepted the terms. From billing: SUMIT customer, payment and recurring-billing identifiers and the paid-through date (never card details). From the extension, only when activating or refreshing a license: the license key, a random installation ID the extension generates, and a generic browser label, used to limit the number of devices per subscription. License keys are stored hashed; the plain key is kept for up to 24 hours to show it after purchase. For abuse protection we briefly keep a one-way hash of the IP address, not the address itself.

3. Data we do not collect

Card details (entered into SUMIT's secure form and tokenized in the browser; they never reach our server); Facebook passwords, cookies or browsing history; the content of posts, questions, groups and replies (they stay in your browser). The extension has no analytics, ads or tracking.

4. AI features (optional)

AI features work only if you enter your own API key for an AI provider (Google Gemini or Anthropic). When you ask to draft or improve a reply, the relevant text (for example the question and your draft) is sent directly from your browser to that provider, not through us, and the provider's terms and privacy policy apply. Without a key, nothing is sent.

5. Access to Facebook

The extension runs only on facebook.com, inside the account you are already signed in to. It reads posts and comments in groups you belong to in order to show you relevant questions, and performs only actions you approve: a comment is published only after you click "Publish", it joins only groups you selected, and it posts only content you wrote and scheduled. This data is used solely to provide these features, is not sold and is not transferred to others.

6. Sharing

SUMIT (payments, invoices, recurring billing); Cloudflare (hosting of the license server and its database); Google Gemini or Anthropic (only if you enable AI with your own key); an email provider, if configured, to send your license key and alerts you opted into; and authorities only where required by law. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to data brokers.

7. Limited Use

The use and transfer of information received by this extension adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements: data is used only to provide and improve the extension's user-facing features, is not sold, is not used for advertising or to determine creditworthiness, and is not read by humans except with your consent, for security purposes, or as required by law.

8. Retention and deletion

Subscription records are kept while the subscription is active and afterwards only as required by law (e.g. accounting records). You can request access, correction or deletion by contacting razyona1234@gmail.com; we respond within 30 days. Browser data is removed when you uninstall the extension.

9. Security

All traffic uses HTTPS, license keys are stored hashed, and admin access is token-protected. No system is perfectly secure, and we work to minimize risk.

10. Children

The extension is a professional tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We will update the date at the top of this page when the policy changes, and material changes to how data is handled will also be shown in the extension.
